Baroda U23 girls shine in national cricket tourney
Vadodara: If there is one team that Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) is looking up to for winning a national tourney, it is the womens under-23 team. This young team of girls has made a record of sorts by winning all the six matches in the league stage of National U-23 Womens T20 cricket tournament this season. Barodas U-23 team has topped the league group and entered the super league.The girls have put up a fantastic performance this season , As Reported By TOI.
According to the Newspaper,The entire team has played as a unit and put a good show. We have won all the six matches by beating the best of the teams, said Bobby Badola, who joined as the teams coach earlier this month. Baroda girls beat Goa, Meghalaya, Manipur, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab in the league stage at Cochin.The team now being led by Yastika Bhatia is very good and our batting, bowling and fielding department did very well.
